Authorization and Consent

Submitting an inquiry authorizes StopCollectors to contact you about that inquiry. It does not authorize creditor contact, create an attorney-client relationship, or allow us to share your information for a referral.

Creditor outreach

Lion Legal contacts a creditor or collector only after the required intake steps and a written engagement are complete. The engagement defines the account, authority, fee, and limits.

Referral permission

If your matter needs a lawyer in another state or separate court counsel, we will ask before sharing your contact information or the basic facts of your inquiry with an independent lawyer.

Court responsibility

The current StopCollectors service does not include an Answer, motion, filing, appearance, docket monitoring, levy or garnishment response, or deadline protection. You must act on every court deadline unless separate counsel agrees in writing to handle it.
